Mobile UX improvements

• Automate the deployment of mobile apps

Dial-out to Phones

Now available on Callbridge - please reach out as dial-out requires some additional set up

We improved the general user experience before release and also added a 'Call Me' feature: 

• This allows for participants to easily choose to use their phone for audio but still view the meeting from their device.

  • Any participant can select the ‘Phone audio’ option from the join UX when connecting to your meetings

  • Users will be presented with a new ‘Call me’ tab where they can enter their phone number.

  • The user will be called and when they answer and accept by pressing ‘1’ they will also be connected into the meeting online without having their audio also connected from their computer.

Improved tile sorting logic for gallery view
We've updated the logic with regards to speakers and your own image to provide for a better overall user experience in larger meetings. The new logic is as follows:

• First page:

  • self tile: last

  • default list order: participant id

  • speakers: replace/swap from 2nd-to-last

• Subsequent pages

  • no self tile

• Last page

  • not full but same tile size

Users can now also select the gallery grid size using the view setting options in the top right corner

Gallery paging hotkey + hotkey in tooltips have also been added to allow users to navigate through the gallery view pages using their keyboard.

• add hotkey for gallery paging: page-up/down

• show tooltip for existing hotkeys

  • alt-a (cmd-shift-a) for audio on/off

  • alt-v (cmd-shift-v) for video on/off

  • left/right arrow for paging in doc sharing

• allow alt-a/v anywhere - e.g. in chat message box

  • other hotkeys are disabled

• support alt-a/v on linux

• switch hotkey to key-up, to avoid auto repeat of key-down

API Improvements
