2023 MAY 15th Release Notes v2.6.294

V2.6.294

Release Notes:

UX Enhancements

  • Change screen share UX for presenter to show a small preview:
When a user initiates screen sharing from a computer, that person will now see a small preview of exactly what is being shared to the meeting. Clicking the expand icon in the top right of that window will allow the user to see a larger preview of what they are sharing and also annotate on that preview if desired.

  • Make the whiteboard tool always available. Previously, when annotation was used, the whiteboard tool was hidden. Now the whiteboard tool will always be available to use.

  • Contain file preview: Ensure preview of shared document (image, pdf, etc.) shows the whole document and does not crop if it is in portrait format

  • Allow for a new customer to sign up for both a plan and webinar add-on:
Previously, a customer was required to first have a regular subscription (plan) before they were able to sign up for an add-on. Now we are able to set a default plan for any white label instance that will allow customers to sign up for an add-on and plan at the same time. This will be particularly useful to allow customers to easily sign up for the new webinar feature, even if they don’t yet have a subscription or free trial.

Bug Fixes

  • Only one waiting_room_breakout: fix for issues with large audio calls where some participants were not sent to the same meeting room

  • iOS mobile app: half the app is scrolled out of the screen when on-screen keyboard is active
