Updates to Mobile Dashboard UI

  • Mobile users should be able to see today's meetings without scrolling and be able to  access important information the moment they login.

    • Reduce size of avatar and move to left of greeting

    • Chang copy link icon from a 'link' to the standard 'copy' icon

    • Reduce height and width of three main buttons and arrange in two rows instead of three.

    • Desktop view remains unchanged




Bugs

  • ical invites have the wrong time with participants using UTC (or others without daylight savings)

  • Hosts report stuck at Pending

  • Closing the Modal to leave the meeting reloads the page

Core Video Upgrade

Upgrading both client and server components of the core video engine:

A key feature improvement is the decoding of VP9 encoded video on Safari and Firefox.  This allows Chromium based clients (Chrome, Edge, Mobile, and Desktop apps) to continue using VP9 video when a Safari or Firefox client joins a meeting.



Mobile Apps

Add a Privacy Manifest to our iOS apps before May 1st 2024. Apple has updated guidelines on declaring the reasons to use some protected APIs so we were required to write a privacy manifest to bundle with our iOS app deploys.



API - Link to current API documentation

  • Paging when more than ten records are retrieved via API.
    Updated sections 6.7 and 8.5 of the API documentation with the following:

    • Where there are more than ten (10) records: page - A cursor for pagination across multiple pages of results. Don’t include this parameter on the first call. Use the next_page value returned in a previous response to request subsequent results.

  • Set a ‘Partner ID’ when creating or updating a company via API.
    Updated section 4 of the API documentation that relates to the creation and updating of companies

    • partner_id: (Optional) An ID for internal reporting that is not visible in the UI

  • Set a ‘Username’ when creating or updating a host via API.
    Updated Section 6 (Host section) of the API documentation - Sections: 6.1, 6.2 & 6.3

    • public_username: Optional. Used to link user accounts on another platform (in addition to the partner_id)
