2025 January 31st Release Notes v2.6.336

Release Notes:

V2.6.336

New Feature: Download Chat History for Past Webinars and Meetings
Hosts can now download chat transcripts from past webinars and meeting summaries in CSV format. This includes text messages, while media files will be listed by filename only (e.g., picture.jpg). This feature allows hosts to retain and analyze chat data for their own reporting needs.

Fix: Webinars Always Stream as Expected
Resolved an issue where webinars failed to start broadcasting if the “Stream to ...” setting was disabled in account settings. Now, webinars will always initiate streaming when the host starts the broadcast, regardless of other streaming preferences.

Fix: Webinar Copy/Schedule Error Resolved
Fixed an issue that caused an “unexpected error” when attempting to copy and schedule a past webinar. Users can now successfully duplicate and reschedule webinars without encountering this error.

Fix: Polls No Longer Cause Errors in Webinars
Fixed a critical issue where ending a poll during a webinar caused error messages, disrupted screensharing, and led to crashes. Polling actions—including voting and ending polls—will now function smoothly without impacting the webinar experience.

Fix: Meeting Recordings Now Download Instead of Playing in Browser
Resolved an issue where clicking the download button on the meeting summary page would open the media file in the browser instead of downloading it. Now, audio and video recordings will be downloaded directly when users click the download button.
